We have really enjoyed making scented snowmen this week, exploring different essential oils from Orange and Cinnamon to Christmas Pine! We had fun choosing our favourite smells to add to rice and oats, the filling for our snowmen. We loved exploring the texture as we spread essential oils into the rice mixture, the festive smells filling our classroom as we worked. Once the mixture was ready, we practiced our pouring skills to fill socks full of the scented rice mix, before adding the final feature to our snowmen. 

With our snowmen ready, we moved our attention to decorating the classroom and making sure the Christmas Tree was full of lights and glittery baubles! It is so exciting getting ready for the holiday season - we can't wait for Christmas!
