Syringe  

You need: 

1. Syringes 

2. Paper 

3. Watered down paint- Your choice of colour 

How to make it: 

1. Dilute paint with water- 1 part paint to 3 parts water 

2. Encourage your child to insert and then draw back the syringe in a choice of paint to fill up and then press the syringe to squeeze the paint out 

How it can be used to support learning: 

1. Developing hand-eye co-ordination 

2. Developing pull and push 

3. Improving grasp and control 

4. Developing hand strength  

5. Maintaining a sustained grasp of an object 

6. Watching their hands when they do something 

7. Placing an item with accuracy
